guy gave it to me in a trade for a honda engine. i took it along with some cash since i'm a broke student.

said it was out of a 60 ish el camino.

i went to highschool with a bunch of chevy guys and all i remember was the carry over from the 2, 4 and 6 bolt mains (ls series motors only?)

i have no clue on how to identify this block, it looks like a standard cast iron block.

not one of the high nickel blocks that google came up with.

More info is needed. The casting numbers off the back of the block will tell what block it is. Once that is determined someone can tell you where to look for the casting date. There is not much value to most 2 bolt main small blocks.

if it an empty block 25-50 bucks maybe if its a 327
