I just bought my 70' Chevelle and it currently has M/T slicks on the rears and 15x4 on the front. The front tires are destroyed from sitting and the car being moved around with no air in them. Im looking for a inexpensive alternative so i can get the car rolling. Im currently looking at getting some 16x7 Cragar Soft 8 steel wheels, 4 in backspacing with 225/55R16 for the front and 16X8 with a 5 in backspacing and 255/50R16 for the rear. Does anyone see any problems with this setup? Would it be better just to run the same size front and rear? Mind you, this is not my final wheel setup, just something to get me rolling! Thx!

Hell if you're just looking for rollers, place an ad on craigslist looking for free wheels, I did thatlast summer & got quite a few calls for FREE RIMS & TIRES

That's a good idea, but I'm going to be running those wheels for at least a year while I save up for some nice wheels.
