My dad has a 77 El Camino with power disc brakes up front and he is probably going to be parting this car out. If the brakes will work he was going to let me have them for my 69 Chevelle. Thanks

They will work however they require all the same mods that are required on all typical tall spindle conversions. Replace the UBJ and modify LBJ. Replace the outer tie rods.

They also have the same disadvantages of the "tall" spindle conversion; increased turning radius, slower steering response, lower RC, and increased bump steer.

Will this work with the 12" rotor conversion. I think I read someplace that spindals on the 77's had a smaller diagmeter? I guess if it won't adapt to the 12" I will just leave stock rotors on it. Better than drums. Thanks agian.

12"rotors require 12"rotor spindles. They do not interchange between each other.

Ok, thanks at least it will be better than drum brakes.
