Howdy Everybody. I recently purchased all new gauges and bezel for my 64 Chevelle Wagon. I hired a reputable electrical shop to install the gauges, clean up all my wiring and install a Dakota fan controller for my dual electric fans. Everything was great when I picked up the car. I drove it for a couple of days. I went to a local show on Saturday morning and once I got home I backed my car into the garage and shut her down. Later that day I went out to admire my gauges, turned the key to the on position and noticed that none of the gauges worked as well as the fan controller and back up lights. I can't drive the vehicle back to the shop due to the fact that the fan controller does not have power, thus the fans will not turn on. I talked to the shop and they said to check my fuses. They were all fine.
Any guesses out there, otherwise I will have to hire a tow company to get her back to the electrican.
I do know that the last thing I did was to back my car into the garage and that the back up lights are on the same ignition fuse as the gauges and the fan controller. Probably some sort of back up light short or something, but doesn't explain why the fuse isnt blown and things still are not working. Help!?
