I posted this in the tech section but I thought I might get more help here. I need to get the old Control Arm bushings out, any ideas?

Take them to a repair shop and have them press them out. Cost me $30 to have my front and rear bushings pressed out and new ones pressed back in. Well worth it.

yeah, what Justin said. It just looks to be a real pain to try with a bench vise so I paid $60 bucks. Well worth it if you ask me.

mine popped right out with a good heavy hammer and hardened flat end punch.

Air Hammer works great for the uppers. used a couple of large sockets and a vise for the lowers until I got the lip out enough to get an air hammer on them. To install I used a large socket and a hammer. Helps if you put the bushings in the freezer first to shrink them before installation.

Drill out the rubber and the inner bushing will fall out. Use a chisel on the outer bushing to make it smaller than the hole it's in - doesn't take much.
