I am going to run this setup from March:

With my twin turbo engine bay, you will mostly just see the alternator. The rest of the stuff I plan to just get as cheap as possible. But I'd like for that alternator to look good.


March has a billet one for $365 yeah, really.
GM 100 amp 10si style case
1 wire Billet alternator
Part #9650

How about I get a regular GM one and powder coat the casing? Any pictures or alternate vendors for fancy alternators? I do not want chrome. polished maybe.

I got a polished powermaster 100amp 1 or 3 wire for i think 140bux. I believe the part number was 27294.

Heya Mikey.....

Why don't you get a stock looking one, then lightly sand the case and then hit it with about 2-3 coats of VHT high temperature clear-coat gloss in a can? It would gleam, but not be gaudy...
