66 Beau

I just discovered what I think may be the origin of the front fender gills (louvres) on a 1966 Beaumont SD.
Anybody familiar with the rear 1/4 louvres on a 1964 LeMans? I've never seen them before, but was surfing the net & came across a picture of a 1964 Lemans. In front of the rear wheel well, there are chrome louvres that look a lot like the louvres on a '66 SD.
And it appears they are being re-popped and available through AMES.
Has anyone ever compared these against the 66 SD louvres?
(There used to be a guy selling re-pop's of these and I can't remember what he was charging, but I know it was WAY more than the $14 each that AMEs has them listed for...)
Maybe this is old news, but I don't think the LeMans was sold in Canada in 1964, so they are very rare up here. Anyone I have seen has been cloned as a GTO and I don't think the GTO's had these louvres.
