I have 2 gigs of DDR2 800mhz with CAS of 5-5-5-12. Can I add the same 800mhz but with CAS of 5-5-5-18? The 12 stuff is hard to find.

Also, can I add 2 X 2 gigs to the current 2 1 gig sticks?

Thanks,
Hugh

No way to tell without knowing what machine you have. Go to Crucial.com and run their memory analyzer. This will tell you what you are able to put into your machine.

Ditto on that idea. Might also check out other memory sites. They've all figured out what is a suitable "conversion". You don't want to "try" something without being sure it'll work either, could fry your motherboard in a nano-second.

When you're running Win32 (WinXP) no (32 bits have a max address of 4Gig)

Vista and higher will work.
