This isn't a Chevy, but I was wondering if any of you have encountered a similar situation.
The instructions said to reuse the metal sleeve from the old bushings in the new bushings if none were supplied with the new bushings. None were supplied so I tried to put one in and it was too big. I didn't want to force it too much and screw things up. The ID of the metal sleeve from the old bushings is 1/2". The ID of the hole in the new bushings is 1/2". The OD od the bolt is about 1/2". I put it back together with the new bushings without the sleeve. I e-mailed Energy Suspension, but wanted to know if any of you have run into a similar problem. They are the shock absorber to trunion (upper kingpin hole) on a MGB if that makes any difference.
