70 chevelle; I'm putting the calipers back on the front and the kit has copper and rubber washers. The copper fit over the bolt but not past the threads. The rubber ones (same size as the copper)will slide over the threads. Lastly, there are larger rubber washers that fit over the metal sleeve.
Not sure what washers to use. I have the manuals but they don't note metal, copper or rubber. Any help is appreciated......
Thanks!!

The copper washers go on either side of the brake hose fitting to capiler(bolt, washer, brake hose, washer, caliper)the rubber washers go in the caliper the small ones in the small ends and the big in the big ends(the ears of the caliper where the bolt goes, you can see a little well where the rubber goes)then put the bushing into the big hole install the pads and bolt the caliper on.

Kid, you're freakin brilliant or have a most awesome memory. Plus you're exactly right. I would have never figured that out....Thanks. I back to work...

Duff,
after you do it once the wrong way, you'll always remember the right way from then on!! :D BTDT several times! I can now rebuild those calipers in my sleep, I've done so many!
Kid is correct, there should be a copper gasket on either side of the brake hose fitting and where the banjo bolt goes thru, the other rubber gaskets go in the holes on the caliper mounting tabs. It helps to grease/lube those rubber ones up so the bolt passes thru easier... otherwise they might get pushed out.
Best of luck,
