After the first of the year, I'll be pulling my BBC for another piston and flat tappet cam change. At that time, I also want to move to a C950 TBI system to improve overall cold starts and highway crusing with the T56, among other benefits.
Is it a good idea to do the initial startup and cam break-in with the EFI, or do I need to run the carb first to avoid possible issues with the "starter" map. I'd like to swap it all at once, but I don't want to take a chance on wiping a cam if that's the wrong way to do it.
Does anyone know for sure when the new Holley TBI system will launch with the self tuning feature?
Thanks,
Kerry
