I have a 66 chevelle that was changed to disc brakes up front. I want to lower the frontend and thought I would do the 2inch drop spindles. However I am not sure what size my rotors are. I measure it as best as I can and I think it is 10 and 3/4. Is this possible? or are they 10 & 1/2, or 11 inch? I can't seem to order any without knowing exactlly. I tried superior spindles and the guy on the phone tells me how he can sell me rotors, brakes and spindles but when I tell him all I want is the spindle for what I think is a 10 & 3/4 inch or so rotor he says "I can't help you". I am not very knowledgeable on this stuff so can someone help me out with what I probably have?

The 11" rotors actually measure something close to 10-3/4" I can't remember what exactly, but I'd say you've probably got stock '69-72 chevelle/monte carlo brakes.

Install some quality 2" drop springs from Coil Spring Specialties and blow off the drop spindles.

Can I install 2 inch drop springs in front and keep new stock springs in rear and be o.k.?

Yes you can get drop spring in front and not the rear. The drop springa will be a little stiffer and your stock rear springs are probaly sagging so it might sit level
