I have a 70 Chevelle that I want to Pro Street/look like a drag car. I want the stance to be low to the ground in front and outback. The back will be tubbed and have 15 inch wide tires and I'll be using a 9 inch rearend. Can I narrow the existing frame and still use the factory four link or will I have to use an after market frame kit? The purpose of this car will be mostly a weekend cruiser and maybe a trip or two to the drag strip, so if I could get the stock four link to hook up decent I would be satisfied.
On the front suspension, what can be done to lower it several more inches under stock height? Oh yeah, if anyone has pictures on the frame modification that would be great, thanks.
