I wouldnt say its too loose but I would like it alot tighter, I like it a little "heavy on the wheel" like I do have power steering and all, and I enjoy it, maybe it needs adjusting, it's far to rocky and loose, what can I do if anything?

Phil,
I think what you want is a quick raito box, Less turns on the wheel and a better road feel.

I agree with what Bob is telling you, along with the quicker ratio steering box you need a power steering pump to match. I have personally used Lees Power Steering and am very happy with the results. The power steering pump has a pressure valve that has alot to do with how much stering effort or steering wheel input feel.

I reused the pump that was on my 64 and it works good.
But my 64 has a 16 5/8" steering wheel.
I think the cars that came with quick raito box came with a smaller wheel like 14" and needs more assist.
My box came from a Trans-Am in the salvage yard and I was too cheap to buy a new pump. But it still works good.
