Hi guys, I need to replace my upper ctrl arm bushings ASAP - one lost nearly all the rubber out of it! My ques. is, can this be done with the a-arm in the car, and the coil spring there? :D

If you raise the car with a jack under the lower control arm, there is no tension from the spring on the upper. All you have to do is unbolt the upper balljoint and the control arm can be released from the spindle.

I've seen people change the upper control arm bushing with the control arm still attached to the car, but it's sooo simple to remove it and it makes the job sooo much easier.
