Chevelle SS 396/375

I have no interest in this car whatsoever, but I was watching it on ebay recently...auction closed yesterday I believe and the reserve wasn't met. This car is very close to me (within 20 minutes). If anyone has any interest in this car I would be happy to look at the car for an unbiased opinion....contacting seller initially is up to interested party. This technically isn't a classified ad, so I wasn't sure where else to put this post. Car didn't sell at $22,500 (reserve not met). Just posting for general interest and valuation info.

Any ideas as to the value of this car?

I called the seller. Non-original engine and a color change. You can also see a sloppy floor plan replacement seam across the section between the wheel wells. I wouldn't want to pay any more than the high bid.

Car is missing the 12 bolt also. Nice looking ride though..

So many cars at first glance appear to be back of the money , even if they do not meet reserve. As you look you find the bidding was not far off. 90% probably do not miss actual value over 10%.

It just shows how important it is to get a car posted on here early in a bidding on E-Bay so it can be gone over. Once you jump in the car with Thelma and Louise it is too late.

You guys picked up on quite alot! Personally, I don't like the wheels and white wall tires...what was he thinking? :noway:

Car presents itself pretty well overall though, but I wouldn't pay that kind of money for such a car.

Only way I'll "overpay" is if I ever find my old car ('67 L78)....being the original owner, it would have definite sentimental value!
