Ever since I first heard "One of us is going Down" by Sick Puppies I thought it should be a car song. Or at least in a car video.
Here's a rough draft.:D

I enjoyed the engine build pics....I don't think I was around here at that time and have never seen them. Thanks for sharing:thumbsup:

Good stuff Maynard! The whole saga...in chronological order!
The only edit/addition I would make would be the time slip progression and maybe a few competition shots vs "rivals" in the TCNW gang (such as a low buck Elky guy)

Good video Greg.

Cool photo of you lined up against that black Dart at Pinks. I liked the one of the hydro as well.

I maintain that the Special is the undeniable Dark Horse in this posse.

You forgot one picture though

This is my goal for 2010 (to get at least four dots ).

Greg, I think I have an extra of your missing piece of window stainless if you want it. Yours for $free!

Thanks Brett, but I have the piece. It was off the car in those pics because it ripped loose from the clips at the corner and was smacking the roof repeatedly as I crossed the stripe.

It about gave me a heart attack, I thought I had lost a rod.:o

If you look in the Pink's pics, the trim that was missing is back on the car. Tom glued it on with some window adhesive in case I got a photo opportunity like the wheels up pic.

On second thought... if the one you have is in better shape I might use it after repairing the clip some day.

Thanks!

George, I don't have any pic's lined up with your Elky. The only TCNW car I have pics of racing against is Mike (Loader1). Most of the racing footage I have are video clips not photos.

Thanks again guys for the encouragement.

I know we tried to square off, think the stager lady ruined things....
There are pics of my car in the pits, a few pics in the staging lanes, but few, scant few of me at the tree. I think everyone runs out of interest....

Hey Greg, how did you get it to upload? I've been trying to upload one and it won't let me. I did a picure one too, with music with blips form the last few years of family and team chevelle/

Hey Darryl, I just used my youtube account and followed the tabs to upload video.

I did have to save it as a .wmv file first. It won't work if you are trying to upload the original project format, which is .MSWMM.

Hope that helps!

That was an awesome video chronology, Darryl.

Excellent choice of tunes.

Christina watched it with me, and liked it.

She liked the pic's of the Oregon dunes best.

Maybe we'll join you there next year. ;)

OK I did my best, but I picked a sound track that Youtube didn't like so they turned it off (Silly copyright laws). We are trying to rectify the situation now and add some music .

So Here is TOG's Most Excellent Adventure (or Three years in the life of TCNW through TOG's eyes).

Part 1 YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.
Part 2 YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.

Update- now at least they have some  sound. These are not the tracks I had picked out, but what YouTube would let me use .

Great videos, TOG !

Good tunes to go with them.

My two favorite stills...the one of Brian's car with the black hood/ scoop and no bumper with the front wheels turned, totally bada$$,

and the smile on Special Greg's face holding that check from winning the brackets !

I have to admit it was fun putting that together.Though, not as polished as Doc's, It was acceptable .
It seems like a life time ago that I saw and briefly met Loader at Shelton.
