Does anyone know what company manufactured the drum brakes for the 1965 Chevelle 300 Deluxe 4 door sedans? I am new to restoring cars and I would like to find literature on proper maintenance. Thanks so much!

Most likely Delco-Moraine. What do you need to know about maintenance? I am sure someone here can help.

Get a copy of the 1964 Chevelle Shop Manual (it covers both 64 and 65 models) or a copy of the 1965 Chevrolet Chassis Service Manual. Both have all the information and nice photos you could want about the brakes. Both are available as reprints from almost any Chevelle parts vendor.

If you want all of the information you'll ever need for your '65, the Chassis Service Manual, Chassis Overhaul Manual, The Body Service Manual, and the assembly manual, all for 1965, will cover it. Service manual is available as reprint and on CD. Don't know about the others. Try a search on ebay and google.
