I was wondering what a early set of 396/375 heads are worth?

To give a fair appraisal of the heads, without seeing them, need more info.
Ported? Recent clean magnaflux? Milled any? Complete with valves or bare castings? Stock springs? Bigger valves? Bronze guides? Valve seats, etc. All the above have an impact on value. Another: how far apart are the heads dates? MH

Cleaned and fluxed, complete, not ported, not shaved, stock with a new valve job as far as I know.

I don't have my Colvin book handy...but, I'm pretty sure the #206 heads are oval port units. The 375hp engines used the rectangular port heads....

Lot's of cars in 65-66 era used that head...pretty sure it was the first production BB head for the low horse motors.

These are rectangle port heads I've seen them and held them in my hands. I just forgot to write down the date code. They are either 206 or 208. I know they are 65s now. I will go get pics and the date code off them.

Rectangle ports at Moultrie this past weekend were $300 to $650. That depended on casting #'s,condition and only the cast heads, no aluminum. 1965 heads would be #208's, ' 66 ones #858. I saw one set of oval ports advertised as 375hp. also, listed as stock for a '63-64 396. I never even bothered that dude ...
