How do I remove the rubber discs covering the body mounts located about halfway point of the door under the rocker.
Thanks

On my 69 chevelle, I removed those when I did a frame off. They popped out pretty easy and as a matter of fact I think I just pulled them out, I may have evene used a flat head to pry them out.

yep they should just fall out. I didn't have any problems with mine coming out.

Not as lucky as you. These haven't dry rotted enough. There ARE mounting bolts under (over) these covers, right?

Not on mine, I believe that the body bushing placement diagram shows that these are supposed to be the rubber mounts, without bolts.

A 69 El Camino has 8 body mounts with bolts and 4 that are just cushions. The cushions are under the doors, and under the bed, on the cross member. The cushions are only held in by the weight of the body. Once the body is lifted off, they will pop right off. Maybe we are misunderstanding the question. Maybe post a picture of the problem, or describe it differently??

Sounds to me like he's having issues with a body bolt, I don't see any other place he'd be having issues.
