I'm installing a new clutch/pressure plate and I'm wondering what the figure is for torqing the pressure plate to the flywheel? Or is it just a "good snug"?

Buy the way, I'm using ARP pressure plate bolts.

I would ask the people who made the bolts.

But you can look on their web site and you will find that for a 3/8 24 200,000 pound bolt the torque is 49 using the correct lube.:thumbsup:

That's so crazy, it just might work. While waiting for a reply here, I did just that and found what I needed. Thanx much.

Stock type GM pp to flywheel bolt trq is 35ft lbs.

Stock type GM flywheel bolt to crank trq value is 65lbs.

I use some locktite for these apps.

Those trq values were per GM manual with stock GM bolts, not for ARP bolts with arp assembly lube which will be different.
