OK,... last time I'm touching any springs in this car. Just rebuilt the front end a month ago. Parts man assured me the front springs were for a small block chevelle. Put the car together, its now an inch higher than stock. The rear suspension was already done and sat at the right height before the front swap. Anyway, can anyone recommend a front spring company that will sit at stock level. Even a half inch lower would be acceptable. Currently using moog front springs and I dont remember the part number

This should the the TRW part number for the small block springs: CS5450.

Joker,
New springs need time to settle.Also tightening the control arm bolts with the car on jack stands can cause a bind.The control arm bolts need to be torqued with the tires on and the car sitting at ride height.

torqued with car level on ground also, springs were put in in late april, early may.

68 jokee samr problem with my 70 chevelle car sits higher in the front i even tried diffrent springs same thing i guess they must really have to settle.
