Well I replaced the old pegleg 10 bolt with a 12 bolt. It has a 3.73 gear, and Eaton posi. Freddie, if you read this post thanks, and I love those axles. I also put in the Hotchkis upper and trailing arms, 1" lowered springs, Airlift 1000 air bags, 1" sway bar, and KYB gas adjust shocks. All I can say is WOW! graemlins/hurray.gif
In addition, the car got new 275/60/15 T/A radials on American Racing Torque Thrust D 15" wheels. I originally thought I would get the rear end replacement done over Labor Day weekend. It took me a total of 6 full days to complete the job (3 full weekends). I might have a problem with the airbags. They seem to be leaking air. How long should they hold pressure?

Just like a tire, they should hold air pretty much indefinitely. Sounds like you have a slow leak. If the bags themselves look to be puncture free, try changing the valve stem guts. Any tire shop could do it for you in about 5 minutes.

Rich,

They are brand new air bags. I put 25 psi on each bag. The pass. side leaked down within several hours, the driver side leaked down within 24 hours. Perhaps it's the hose, the supplied hose clamps were pretty cheesy. I would hope the valve assenmbly is OK since they are new.

Check your lines and fittings...mine hold steady pressure for months using the supplied "cheesy" clamps. Valve stem core tight?

Mine have held air for 9 months now with no issues.
Check the valve core (schrader valve). If all of your other connections are good, then the valve is probably loose.

You could try the old tire leak test: use soapy water on suspected areas and watch for bubbles. I've brushed it on with a small paint brush as an applicator.
