For my 70 396/350 HP motor I know the correct part number for the thermostat housing is 3877660 with the ressed triangles and spring tab ... but should it be steel or aluminum?

Thanks

Dave

On my 1st gen Z/28 it has an aluminum intake and a steel gooseneck from the factory. The factory cast iron intakes use aluminum goosenecks.......must have something to do with dissimular metals and electrolysis.
