Don, If you are looking for the "BC" code tire pressure decal, check out the below link. They are the only one that has it, as far as I know.:D

Thanks for that link Lance. If nothing else shows up I may go with that one. However, it has been brought to my attention by Dennis Cumby that the 69's might have come with the tire size as F70-14-4 PR rather than the F70-14-B. The former would relate to 4 ply rating, while the latter is load range B (possible relating to a tire construction change for the 70 model year). The one in that link may in fact be appropriate for a 70, don't know for sure. Further investigation needed I think.

Jim Osborn lists 3 tire decals for 69 Chevelle.
Tires-E78-14....Code DP
Tires-F70-14....code DW
and another that is for 1969 and 1970 with Tires-775, F70, and F78 that is code DC
They list BC as LS-6 for 1970


If Don doesn't mind my butting in for a second. I'm looking for the same info on the 69 El Camino. My build sheet box 105 is not readable. Jim Osborn does list a tire pressure decal as DL, with the optional G-70-14 tires. Anyone have an Elky build sheet with box 105 readable.

Finally got around to digging up some copies of build sheets. I found one with the RPO code F41. Box #105 shows "BC". Box #106 (tires) shows "F70X14".

Further investigation with a magnifier shows my F41 build sheet to be a 1970 SS. This copy is very dark and hard to read even with a magnifier. Hate to say I'm getting old...

No problem Brian. I firmly believe the 69 "BC" decal should have "4 PR" after the tire sizes and not "B" as shown in Osborn's reproduction. I think that Osborn decal would be correct for 1970.
