I have access to a pair of REAR 67 Chevelle spiral shocks, dimentionally are they simlar to the 69 shock? Can I put them on my '69 Chevelle without incident?

I tried a pair of 68 shocks on my 66 and they wouldn't work. If you look in the catalogs 64-67 and 68-72 have different part numbers. Somebody else might be able to add something but I'm pretty sure they wont work.
