ok, my tire clearance in the back is really tight on the drivers side. I've heard that you can literally unbolt the body from the frame and shift the body to center it on the frame. If my body was moved approximately 1/8" to 1/4" to the right (passenger) it would center the wheels in the back and gain me some needed clearance on the drivers side fender lip. Anyone tried this?

I did this same thing w/ my 68. It was simple. Just loosen the body mount bolts & pry the body over the amount needed. Measure from bottom of body to frame rail to make sure both sides are evenly spaced. I also replaced all of my body mounts & hardware @ same time though. Good luck, JOHN
PS what size tires are you running?

I'm running 295/45 18's on a 10 in. rim. 12 bolt is out of 68, backspace is 6". And i need to shift body to the left, not right as i stated in first post. If I center everything up, I'll still only have maybe a 1/4" to 3/8" clearance on either side of each tire. Only rubs when going up a driveway at an angle and the rear end tilts higher on one side.
