How tall (thick) is the transmission mount for a 69 SS396 , 4 speed car supposed to be ???
I am putting my 69 SS396 back together and when the trans was back in and the mount on it, it seems like I have to push the trans up too high against the underside of the floor to get the crossmember back in. The yoke on the drivershaft just barely clears the floor.
It's a Napa auto parts mount. It just don't look right.
