Hello to all members.

I am new here but have been on team Camaro for a couple of years.

Recently purchased a 67 Chevelle to keep my 69 Camaro company in the garage.
The new purchase has a 468 mild cam backed with a T.H. 350 and 3:73's in the rear.

My question concerns advice on cooling down my engine temp at idle as it generally runs about 200-210 at highway speeds but shoots up to 215-225 at extended idle slow traffic etc.
I have a four row Harrison,a fan shroud and 7 blade flexlite about 2 inches from the rad with the long water pump.
I looked at putting an Eaton clutch on with a 7 blade Delco fan but it was too long.
Do I need to change to a short water pump or does someone manufactuer a clutch with a shorter shaft.
Thanks for to all for any help:)

Sounds like you want to maintain stock looks under the hood .. im sure Scott weaton will be along to give some advice ... mean time you may want to look at hayden clutchs and fans .. you may be too deep into the fan shroud at this point .. fan should be about 1/3 out .. not a big fan of flex fans if thats what you have .

personaly I would go to electric twins .. Sensor opperated on at 195 with lots of CFM pulling heat out of the rad in city stop and go .. but if your trying to stay stock looking thats out .
