I started sanding my frame and so far can only find the following codes stamped on the back drivers side.


3908663 (s) 37

0 5 67 S1 CJ


I cannot seem to find the VIN yet which i thought would be on top of the frame at the back drivers side, any ideas?

That's the typical location of the partial VIN altough others have ben found in various locations on the frame. See http://www.chevellestuff.com/qd/frames.htm for other found locations. Remember too the partial VIN will NOT have the series/model portion of the VIN, only the year/plant/sequence such as 8A123456.
