Can the pass side door glass be adjusted fore and aft on my 66 two door hardtop?
Looking at mine, the door is too far forward, and rubs the fender when opened, but the window is all the way back on the rear glass weatherstrip.
Thinking of adjusting the door to open close and have a decent door gap, but the window would have to go forward in the door.
Thanks.

Just finished putting the glass back in my 67 convert and it could be adjusted in every direction...in fact it was a pain in the glass trying to get it just right. So yes, you should be able to do what you want. Remove the door panel and look for the adjustment bolts holding the glass tracks in place. Loosen the tracks and move the glass to where you need it.

You can move the door back and then adjust your rear window back more to make up the room. As Bob said, they can be adjusted in every direction. If you spend $30.00 you can have a "Body by Fisher" manual for your car that clearly discribes how to do it.

Check the fender position too - before you move the door. It may be back a bit too far.

Thanks. Got the book, have not looked in there yet.
I am realizing that I like engines and drivetrains, but working on the rest of the car, not so much. Especially after the last weeks heater redo.
