I'm shopping around for parts for my entire front end sunpension rebuild; I'm converting the original power front discs to 11" rotors, new spindles and tubular upper A arms.
I've seen an offset cross shaft offered by a small company [Spartan Rod Works] that says this design adds more camber adjustment. In my rebuild, I plan to try to stay with stock ride heighth as much as possible [I know it's not the rage, but I like having good ground clearance for headers]. How would my planned system benefit, if any, from the added camber adjustment?
Also, does anyone have any feedback on the Original Parts Group Front Disc Kit [$550, the one with the stock spindles; these are the spindles that accomodate the 11" rotor, but with out the 2" drop ] and how well they install/operate with tubular uppers and standard coils?
And finally, am I going about this mod the right way? IE: find the 11" rotor/brake assy. w/ standard heigth spindles that will accomodate the tubular uppers [SpeedTech in this case] and standard height springs, or the other way around??
Thanks [can hardly wait to get started]
