I was going to keep quiet until I was sure but I'm a little excited. Anybody interested in drop spindles that actually improve handling with no side affects?

I am looking into having some spindles built that will be about 4" taller than stock for improved FVSA and camber curve, they will have little to no bumpsteer issues, they will not change the steering radius (those with tall spindle know what I am talking about) and they won't cost much more than regular drop spindles.

Obvouiussly they are 6 months out as I need to get a pair made up and try them for a while to be sure I am happy enough with the results to offer them to others.

So those considering the tall spindle swap and not in a big hurry may want to hang out for a few months and see how this works out.

What will they use for rotors, calipers, backing plates, ball joints, tie-rod ends, etc???

I'm guessing with a 4" taller spindle, the only option for upper control arms would be adjustable ones like the "pole positions" arms?

Stock control arms will work and the angle will be fine. Probably will need to use stock springs and it still will be quite a bit lower.

Probably going to be C5 brakes

ball joints and tie rods will be stock Chevelle parts

Cool! but the C5 brakes won't fit behind a 15" wheel will they? I'm gonna do the tall-spindle on this car, but maybe on my next project

Nope, going to have to run 17's.
