: Connecting the vacuum

Got halfway done with the power disc brake conversion on my -69 last weekend. All the major parts are on the car graemlins/hurray.gif

One thing that I still need to do is to connect the vacuum hose to the intake manifold. My question is: where is the correct place to connect it? I just can't remember where it has been connected on my previous cars, but I think it was to the same fitting where the vacuum to the transmission is hooked up (on top of the #7 and #8 intake runners). The engine is a 307 with stock 2 barrel manifold. Anyone got a picture?

On mine (396) there is a pipe thread hole in the back of the carb base where a 3/8" od inverted flare X 1/4" MIP fittings goes.

Thanks, that rings a bell... think that's where it was on my Camaro. Have to check when I get home.

On my 350, it's hooked up to the same fitting as the vacuum modulator, from the intake manifold. The fitting has two different size ports on it, available from NPD.

Jerry, thats the place I was talking about. Sounds like you can do it either way then. Thanks!
