Forgive me if this question has been asked recently. I've been stuck in Iraq for the last 6 months and I'm a little behind.

I was searching for a disk brake conversion kit for my '66 Chevelle and I came across Master Power brakes conversion kit for $595. Is this a worthy kit? I'm still trying to stop with the stock 4 wheel power ass. drum brakes. I know it will be an improvement over what I have now. What I need to know is will it be enough to stop my 396? Another thing to consider is I'm adding a 150 shot of NOS. I would like to add rear disk at a later time.

i put the master power brakes manual front disc conversion on my '72 this july. i had power drums before that, and i'm incredibly pleased with the new brakes. installation was pretty easy, and i'm pretty much a beginner. i highly reccommend the kit. that's my 2 cents.
