In the 66 AIM under U14 it shows the parking brake warning bulb to be different than the instrument bulb. Part # 9412348 as apposed to # 9417863.
My wiring diagram manual shows the brake warning bulb to be 257; 2cp and the instrument bulbs to be 1816;3cp.
The owners manual talks about a flashing parking brake warning.
This bulb from the a corvette vendor for 63-67 corvettes shows this to be a 257 bulb that blinks and one of the uses to be a parking brake warning bulb.
Do you think this is the correct parking brake warning bulb for a 66 chevele with the U14 instrument package? Thanks.
