Can someone explain what happens? I type things in a post in all caps, and they show up in the thread in lowercase letters. Does the forum software do this automatically? Why?

Thanks...:beers:

I have noticed this situation also. Maybe the new owners are trying to cut costs.

I TYPED THIS IN CAPS IN THE EDIT.

It's the new cap and trade program - you put in caps and it trades them for lower case equivalents.

I've always noticed that sometimes if you type ": and D" rather than clicking on the icon and it shows up as ":d" but can be edited.

I HAVEN'T TRIED TYPING IN ALL CAPS THOUGH.

Why would you want to type in all caps? Thats the same as shouting at someone.

Maybe I want to laugh really loud about something, or stress one word in a sentence.
