Don't know anything abut this. Guy that assembles my engines is looking for a set of "disc brake spindles" for his 67 Chevelle. I owe him a few favors and thought I would get him a set.
Any ideas on where to look, and about what they would cost?
Appreciate any advice offered.

ebay has them often at about 90 bucks a pair. Most aftermarket vendor offer them also, like Year One. Try our sponser by looking it up on their site.

I may be wrong,But i just swaped in discs in My 67. I used 68 Cutlass units that came complete with rotors calipers sheilds ect. With drum and disc units side by side on a bench the spindles look identical except for the bolt on brackets for the calipers. If you are asking for spindles be wary and specify they come with all the hard ware.

If he has the drum brake spindles he should be able to modify them to accept disc brake caliper bracket. I did a set for a friend by bolting the caliper bracket to the spindle and marking the upper boss and removing about .610 from the boss I found this info on another site I will try and find the link and post it.
