Is this for real? I dont care what kind of sound system or how much you overpayed for your body restoration I still can't see this car being worth more that 75K.... anyone else think this is way over the top for a pro touring nova
jefft28 Nov 10th, 09, 10:36 AM No Clue on value but i love the color..
69SS3964Spd Nov 10th, 09, 10:44 AM The magic words in that description are "Barret Jackson" enough said!
rak1 Nov 10th, 09, 10:51 AM According to the ad he has over 155k in receipts and is just trying to get his money back, plus he used the best of everything in the build and Pat Mussi engines are not cheap. Now is it worth it? The funny thing is someone who has 145k laying around will buy it so they can say the own it and to keep their Ferrari from getting lonely. Is it for us? We are car people and this car is not intended to be part of that group; it’s a show car period! Secondly, I don't really get upset because it has a 22k radio system in it anymore because it's the current trend in the show car world so it’s just done the way show cars are done today. I do think it was done very nicely but it’s not practical for anything else in my opinion. The funny thing is they didn't build a 350 SS in 1970 so it's either a 396 or a Non SS Nova that was converted to a show car, and with all the mods it doesn't matter anyhow.
JpMotorsports Nov 10th, 09, 10:59 AM Looks pretty cool I really like that color
LKSV8 Nov 10th, 09, 11:50 AM can think of other things to spend that kinda money on, dont like the wheels at all, so i wont be buying it:D
cuisinartvette Nov 10th, 09, 11:58 AM Beautiful car, but those :gag: wheels...
TCSS1970 Nov 10th, 09, 1:14 PM I would almost guess you could drop the 1 in the front and it still won't sell.:noway:

Or add another digit. Doesn't matter either way.
He should just send it through Barrett if he wants that kind of money.

fishhead Nov 10th, 09, 2:06 PM I dont think that would get 100,000 at BJ's...

rak1 Nov 10th, 09, 4:51 PM Interesting Tony; when I was into Nova's I thought you couldn't get a 350 in a Nova SS until 1971. Could you get the 350 in a Nova SS in 1969? I guess you learn something every day. Thank you!
Astro Vent Nov 10th, 09, 4:54 PM can think of other things to spend that kinda money on, dont like the wheels at all, so i wont be buying it:D
Wheels are an easy fix...i'd buy a car if looked nice and all that was bad about it was the wheels.
But i agree that with that kinda money you can buy a cooler car.

Yes, in 69 it was the L48 optional engine. Your'e welcome!
Highway Star Nov 10th, 09, 9:27 PM That car is gaudy in every category, except for class. I love...LOVE Novas, but that car is so bad, I don't like it. :noway:
Chris R Nov 10th, 09, 10:02 PM At least its not sitting on 26 inch wheels looking like a Tonka Toy. Loose the wheels and that car would look much better. Maybe not 100K plus better though but a nice car none of the less.
cwilks Nov 11th, 09, 11:32 AM that is one fugly Nova
