I have a 67 chevelle that my painter did a whacked up job of installing the moulding aroudn the window. He used the incorrect clips, the bottom moulding moves around quite a bit.
Advice on how to get this done right, outside of having another body man do this.
thanks

Buy the right clips, put them in and install the molding yourself, it's easy. Giddy up.

OK. I got the right clips.
I installed the clips.
What is the best way to get the moulding to press onto the clips?

I assume your talking about the front windshield trim. Buff the stainless out to perfection first. Assemble the pieces together on the bench and bring it over to the car as one piece and set in the right place. You might want and extra hand to do that. Move the trim into the right position over the clips and pop it down with your hand.
