I just purchased some PST Polygraphite Bushings for my Control Arms on my 70. Reading through the posts Im confused if I need to lube them up prior to install so they wont squeak. If so, what is the easiest way to remove the inner ring to lube 'em up?
Thanks,
Dave

I believe that it is just the polyurethane bushings that have the squeak/bind issue.

the polygraphite you don't lube- they are impregnated with graphite which is supposed to take care of that for you.

You still need to lube Polygraphite prior to installation with the supplied grease tube.
Take a screwdriver and put it through the inner sleeve hole. Place the back of the screwdriver down on a table and push the bushing down. It should start to come apart.

As said, lube them. But the easiest way to install them AND get the bushing out is to stick them in the freezer for several hours first.
