I know little about Chevelles, and nothing about Buicks. I have a 68 Camaro project I want to get rid of. And I tend to hang out on Camaros.net. Anyway, the guy wants to trade even on my 68 Camaro. What are ya'lls thoughts on value? He told me the 455 is original? Any thoughts?

Here's the vin if that helps.

Thanks.

i didn't think the 455 engines were available in the buick A-body cars until the 70+models years....
skylarks can be nice, i don't really like the side lines on the 68-69 cars though.......
68 camaro maybe worth more that an even trade depending on the condition of both cars and how much each of you want the other's car ......
welcome to the site..... :)

68-69 Skylarks believe had a GS 350 and a GS 400 option packages. If it were a stick shift GS model with solid frame and floors then it might be an even swap for your Camaro.

As already stated, they did not put a 455 in a skylark until 1970. I would think if they were in similar condition, the camaro would still be worth more.

If the car is really nice then it might be worth the 10 grand(seems nice in pics but you know how that goes) I think skylarks are a much tougher market, especially the 68-69's because it's an either you love it or hate it body style.

Tell us about the camaro and how much you're asking....

Have to admit I hate the 68-9 skylark body. Love the 70-2, but no 68-9 for me.

I'd keep the camaro.

I hope Andy69 doesnt see this.:D

Its not a bad body style but I will say I am not a big fan of how they incorperated fender skirt looking quarter panels into the sides on them.

The 455 was not available in any Buick in 1969.
The biggest engine that came in a Buick in '69 was a 430.
I know...I had one.
