i recently replaced my fuel sending unit. when i removed the gas tank and disconnected the unit,the gas gauge went to the 3 o'clock position(stock SS
5' gauge with idiot lights). upon installing the new unit and filling the tank,the gauge is not resetting. i've got power and ground and a little bit of movement but it's staying close to 3 o'clock. is there a way i need to calibrate the gauge? not sure what the deal is.:confused:

Either the sending unit ground wire is not making a good ground connection or the new sending unit is bad.
