: Replacement of cage nuts

Now that my new garage is 'almost' done and the cold weather is here, I decided to start dismantling my Chevelle. I already knew I had some bad body mount bolts/cage nuts, but I wasn't sure if new cage nuts are part of the new floor/trunk pan braces.

I need to replace my entire trunk, but can't tell buy the photos of the replacement parts if cage nuts are actually part of it on the braces.

All four of the cage nuts in the trunk area are bad, with the two at the rear wheel wells completely rusted away

(This photo has nothing to do with cage nuts, but just something I took with my phone)

I was thinking when you paint the car you can just hit the walls as well...the car would have his own personalized garage...

The braces/mounts that came with my '66 3-piece trunk pan kit had Cage Nuts welded in them. My 3-piece kit was distributed by Golden Legion.

Yup I just did the 7 pc kit from tamraz and the cage nuts were already welded to the braces.
