Hi all,

I recently bought a cable that allows me to hook my ipod into the CD controller plug on my Kenwood krc-3006.

The problem is, I can't get the radio to go into CD player mode.

Anyone have a trick for this?

I have contacted the supplier of the cable and they aren't much help, other than to offer a refund if I can't get it to work.

Here's a link to an owner's manual, if you don't have one. It did say in there that you have to eject the tape if you have one inserted.

I had already downloaded one. It says to press (4), but this has no effect on my radio. I know the button is working, because pressing and holdin (4) turns the loudness on and off. I am beginning to wonder if the cd changer provides some type of indicator to the radio, which makes the button active...
