No where! It seems that all the aftermarket plastic fenderwells are junk. If you do a search you will find lots of comments on them.

anyone know where the best place to purchase front plastic inner fenderwells would be? for a 69 model....thanks in advance I believe that places like Ground-up and others sell both the plastic ones as well as the steel ones. Perhaps some racers opt for the plastic ones due to some weight savings. I had a plastic one on the passenger side of my Chevelle which had been installed by the previous owner. When I brought the car to the bodyshop, they suggested that I buy a steel one so that they could replace the plastic one. It was their opinion that the plastic ones are weaker, and that the steel ones would provide more support for the fenders. I don't know much about bodywork, so I took their advice and had them replace the one plastic one that I had with a steel one.

Bill, I have the newest version of the plastic inner fender wells. These are new to the market and nothing like the old ones. They are from a brand new mold AMD had cast.

I just purchased Goodmark plastic inner fenders thru Summit, $219 shipped. Installed the passanger side and fit almost perfect. Haven't got to the drivers side yet. It is nearly impossible to tell from the originals. I installed on my 69 Chevelle as well. See this thread I posted. I am very satisfied with them!

I got mine from NPD for both of the 72's, not sure on their supplier. But, they were a HUGE pain in the ass to install. I'm not happy with the fit at all. I would avoid them based on my experiences with both cars.

I installed plastic inners bought from OPG a few years ago for my '70.
Fit very nice!!
I used plastic because needed to trim a section of the inners to provide clearance for the Hooker Super comp headers. One tube on each side passes outside the frame.

One tube on each side passes outside the frame.I have those same Hooker headers on my engine, and so I also had to trim my inner fenders too. But I trimmed the steel ones. Did it with a cut-off tool. It wasn't too difficult, but I'm sure that I could've made the cuts look nicer if they were plastic.
