I am switching from a vaccum assist to a non-vaccum assist master cylinder due to clearance problems that I have heard on this forum with tall B.B. valve covers and vaccum assist brakes.Well I bought the master cylinder from kragens and it didn't come with the shorter push rod. No one in town sells them. Any ideas? thanks guys.

I did the same thing,removed the booster.I used a grade 8 NFT bolt,cut the head off and ground the end round.You will have to play around with the measurment till you get it right.On the pedal arm move the rod to the other hole(not sure which one,there are two holes on the pedal one for power and the other for manual)I hopes this helps.
