: Repacking upper steering bearing?

I'm putting the steering column from my '67 back together (non-tilt, with auto shifter on the column). Looking at the upper bearing housing, I can't figure out how to get new grease into the ball bearings on which the shaft rides. Is there a trick to this, or a special tool? Is the bearing race supposed to press out of the housing easily, or would I break it trying to do that?

Thanks for any advice on this.

Reid,

Joe is right (for once  ) try Jim. However, I just read in another post that he just returned from vacation and it might take him a few days to sort thought his e-mails.

Good Luck.
