just wanted to say and im new to the chevrolet area. ive always been a Ford person (dont hold it against me) but recently aquired a '68 Chevelle that i'll be starting on here shortly. ill be all over this place looking for tech and parts so bare with me.

on a personal note, my name is David and im from central Ky. ive always enjoyed the looks of these cars vs other GM products. the car ive aquired needs attention, no doubt in that but like everything it's a work in progress. it's a '68, V8/auto, bucket seat car. it came with a 402/400 combo that i plan to use with it.

if anyone is close or has any advice, please feel free to lemme know :) Thanks!

guys, i cant thank you enough for the warm welcome. :beers:

some of my plans for it will be disc brakes, aluminum intake, putting buckets back in it, and just get it driving first.

here's some details:
'68 Chevelle Malibu
original SBC/auto
bucket seats
red exterior
white interior

im gonna decode the cowl tag here in a few so we'll see some more info :)

i have to agree! no offense to the other years, but the "bigger bodied" 68-69 cars are sooo sexy

btw, i posted up my coal tag info and was wondering if anyone could help with it? i got a few things decoded but the interior and alot of the other codes arent listed....
