Has anyone used the new semi-kevler drum brake kits from Praise Dyno Brakes? The article in CHEVELLE looks great, but magazines sometimes
tell you what the mfg tells them to say$$$ ;)

Yes, 427L88, aka Gene Chaas has them on his 67 and says they are just great. Find his email or hope he sees this post.

There has been a lot of posts about them, you should find a lot of info if you search in this forum. From all I have heard, it's obviously good stuff. I'm trying to decide myself if I should go with a disc brake kit, or Praise brake shoes + booster, but I don't know yet. Spent the weekend fixing my front drum brakes, and discs would have made it much less painful. But there's nothing much to do as I would prefer to keep my 14" rims and stock hubcaps. Desicions...

I have their Stage 111 complete drum kit with my factory power brakes graemlins/thumbsup.gif The drums are cryrogenically treated -310*F.... this process is used alot in commercial vehicles with drum brakes to reduce fade etc etc works for me and keeps car original looking
